Meet the Founder Hi, I’m Nikiya, the founder of Lights Camera Waxing LLC, where every client is treated like the star of the show. My journey has taken me across the country and shaped the person and esthetician I am today. Originally from Newark, New Jersey, I later moved to Georgia, where I proudly served in the United States Navy. My military career led me to Washington State, then Florida, and eventually brought me home to Virginia, where I turned my passion for helping others feel confident into a career in esthetics. Beyond the treatment room, I’m a proud mother of three amazing children—one son and two daughters—who inspire me every day to build a legacy of hard work, confidence, and self-love. I’m also a passionate motorcycle rider and a proud member of Fyne Dymez Inc., embracing the freedom of the open road and the strength of sisterhood. My educational background in Psychology and Health Services Administration allows me to connect with clients on a deeper level. I understand that self-care is about more than appearance—it’s about confidence, mental wellness, and feeling comfortable in your own skin. As a licensed professional esthetician, my mission is to provide expert waxing, brow, and skincare services in a welcoming, judgment-free environment where everyone feels seen, respected, and empowered. Cancellation Policy
I charge a 30% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 1 hour of the scheduled appointment.
